This course, which is led by Lindsay Pickton from Primary Education Advisors, is for all teachers of KS1. It offers a wealth of practical strategies to grow strong writers in Year 1 and Year 2. During the day participants will have the opportunity to consider:

• How to draw on rich texts and move towards independence in writing
• How to manipulate vocabulary and grammar for effect
• How to bring structure and content together
• Being playful with language
• Thinking about reflection and re-working
